Wooden picnic tables today combine modern mateials to enhance the commercial durabilithy. All of our wood picnic tables use galvanized steel frames to make the commercial grade.  However, wood tables  have survived thousands of years. Today our wooden picnic tables are still popular and improved to commercial specifications.

Wooden picnic tables are built for commercial use and made with beautiful treated Southern Yellow Pine. The planks are pressure treated for protection from weather and public use. Our wood picnic tables are found in national parks, local parks, and schools as the natural beauty of Southern Yellow Pine wood complements the natural environment. The 2 x 10 treated wooden planks provide protection against UV rays, dry rot, peeling, cracking, blistering, and chalking.

What are the frame options for a wood picnic table?

We offer the wooden picnic tables in either a bolted galvanized steel frame or welded galvanized steel frame.

"BG" and "2BG" Models

The "2BG" models have picnic table frames that are bolted together. The frame is made out of 2 3/8" high strength galvanized tube. Cross braces are 1 5/16" galvanized tube with seat brackets made of 10 gauge galvanized steel.

The "BG" models have picnic table frames that are bolted together and made of 1 5/8" galvanized steel. The legs are standard as galvanized steel. Cross braces are 1 5/16" galvanized tube with seat brackets made of 10 gauge galvanized steel.

"CJ" and "J2" Models

The "CJ" frame is made of 1 5/8" pipe that is welded together. Top and seat cleats are 2" x 2" x 3/16" steel angles. Center cleat is 1 1/2" x 1/2" steel channel. This frame comes standard as galvanized steel, however it can be powder coated at no additional cost. In the drop down menu of in the item description it will ask for a preference.

The "J2" frame is made of 2 3/8" high strength galvanized tube and a center cleat made of 1 5/16". This frame comes standard as galvanized steel, however it can be powder coated at no additional cost. In the drop down menu of in the item description it will ask for a preference.
